Le Bibloquet Jazz Club
"Here I am, living in a Paris garrett, writing poems and having champagne for breakfast..."
Langston Hughes.
Thank you so much for helping us to arrange the tour.  Fawn had a great way of weaving stories instead of spewing facts.  We had lots of fun and we all learned something new.

Paris is a non-stop wonderland
for kids and young people. There are treasures to be hunted, mysteries to solve, towers to climb. Ask for our family-focussed itineraries that dovetail your interests. Together you can discover the last wooden bridges of Paris, the best ice-cream, the scariest corner of the Opera, the friendliest caricaturist in Montmarte, or which one of you makes the best crepes.

With Paris-based guides managed by a former Paris resident who raised a family here, we know Paris and France!

                                            Best of Black Paris
Just where exactly is Black Paris? Latin Quarter, Montmartre, Barbes, Montparnasse, Nation....it's all over the city! African-American history crosses paths with African galleries and eateries, Caribbean restaurants and shops rub shoulders with hot shot designer boutiques. Armed with your detailed and informative
Afro-Centric itinerary, you head straight for the music, exciting Black art and creation, inspiring historical and contemporary walking tours, fine cuisine and down-home diners, and the traditional African district.

                                            Best of Insider Paris
Mix it up! We research all year long and love to pass on what's new to travellers. One day you can eat, play and sleep where our expatriates did. If there's an exhibit by a Black artist in town, we'll put it on your itinerary. Another day, get to the heart of diverse neighborhoods and their specialities, then shop like Parisians for fine toiletries, gifts and everyday items. A third day, we line up art, fashion, lifestyle, museums and tours.

                                               Best of France
Josephine Baker enchanted the entire country with her sparkle, style and strong universal ideals. For the past several years, Walking The Spirit Tours founder has escorted groups to visit Baker's former chateau in southwest France where her achievements are proudly displayed. Anytime between Easter and October, we can organize an unforgettable excursion to her 'sleeping beauty' castle. Your itinerary includes written introduction to the region's bountiful specialities and sets you strolling through the lovely medieval town she frequented. If you have at least 3 days, let us show you why Josephine fell in love with the Dordogne, created an empire, and raised her Rainbow Tribe family here.

We will also arrange seasonal excursions to the popular Chateaux of the Loire Valley, Monet's Giverney, Normandy D-Day sites, Champagne region cellars.
